Yes pretty much the same but as some seemed interested in the Slim cased model I thought it worth posting, the other one you referenced is a dumpy tower.

Would it be possible to upgrade this processor to a Q6600 and a 8800 GTS yourself once you have bought the system? First post :p
#10
would someone be able to explain how i get it down to £299?

i can't get it below £400 :)

1st post also ;)

I think you need to select base warranty and remove the 19" monitor. Also, select the logitech cordless desktop option and then choose the option which says 'Mouse Included in Wireless Keyboard and Mouse option'.
#12
thank you very much! got it :)

Hi
Will the system accept digital output for my monitor.

As this is a slim case the video card needs to be half height, not sure the 8800 is available like that, as to the cpu, I cant say as its a brand new product though I would assume it to be a possible upgrade...maybe!

Maybe the Dimension 9200 featured elseware on the forums would be a better bet with the quad core already installed.

Hey, great deal but just wondering, if you are all getting rid of the 2/3 year warranties, aren't you worried your PC might break down and you'll have to spend more money to get it fixed?

I phoned up to inquire about upgrading to Vista Premium but the sales guy tried to give me the hard sell on keeping the longer warranty.

Now I can't decide what to do.
