That's not so great :whistling:

What are you planning on using your system for?

I would have settled for a 20" monitor but it seems I can only upgrade rather than downgrade. At least it isn't intergrated graphics.

Well spotted bazza, will edit.

Was planning on running Adobe SW but it has been mentioned that a quad core may be better suited for me.

I personally like this system for general use (including some decent gaming specs):

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-192-OK&groupid=43&catid=1270&subcat=

It is £339 excluding monitor and OS. The RAM is faster, the hard drive is 500GB, the PSU is better and the Graphics Card is miles apart. Free upgrade to Windows 7 if you pay them for an OS, my choice though would be to hunt down a £50 Windows 7 deal and install the RC Windows 7 on receipt.

if you not after ther 22" screen, then the deal isnt that great

For a quad core this is probably the best deal around (warrantied overclock included):

£683.97 but in a completely different league.

Trouble with Overclockers is that if anything goes wrong, they won't properly cover you for it. They view a PC as merely a pre-assembled collection of parts, and if one of them fails, it's up to you to troubleshoot and send them back the appropriate part. Also, they're hideously offensive racist scum.

Haven't experienced the racist scum part of their service, but I'll be sure to watch out for it. Sad to hear these things about a retailer I have had pretty good dealings with
