Dell have released the brand new Vostro 3300 13.3" laptop which comes with a Core i3-330M processor and can be upgraded to a Core i5-520M processor. You can also upgrade to an Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card. Only weighs 1.8Kg without optical drive (1.94Kg with optical drive).

Base price including vat and delivery is £468.83 (free shipping until 16th March) and for that you get this specification:

At 6am there were errors on these new Vostro deals like Processor : I3-330M (2.13GHz) subtract £282.00 but they didnt stay long enough for me to post them here.

Talking to Dell support they say 2 to 3 hours.

8 cell battery is available, but that involves emailing them for a quote.
Also it increases the size of the laptop.

Had the older Vostro 1310 with T5670 & 8400M GS. Good little runner, can even handle L4D2 & COD 4. Should consider this even if it's not for business use. Otherwise for £680 there's the Sony 14" CW core i3-330 with 330M GT.

This looks great, just what I wanted, almost as if Dell have released a PC tailor made for me! Was going to buy the Inspiron 1564 but think I will go for one of these now. Many thanks for posting wouldn't have heard about it others, heat and rep.

I went for the Sony in the end (£650 from Play.com). Would have gone for the Dell if the battery was better.
