How good is that card compared to a 525M?

Sounds like a better deal than that £529 XPS 15 I've just gone for :(
#6
how do you put these through Quidco? you link to dell and then what?

I missed the other dell because I was trying to figure it out!

oh. My mate just bought this for about £600. I better not tell him... :s
#11
Can any Tom, Dick or Harry buy from dell small business?
Sorry if I'm being numb.
#12
Would've bought the 350 deal, but not more than 50% MORE
#13
I'm trying to find SOMETHING wrong with this laptop, it just seems perfect. Anything we should know?
#14
Seems a brilliant deal...but does anyone have an idea on the battery life with the 6-cell unit? Reviews seem a bit few & far between.
#15
Does anyone know whether this system has the Scrabble type keys, (MAC style)
#16
Apparently this is the business site, can we still buy it? A Dell rep says that there's no returns policy.

Yes you can. it just means that your consumer rights will not apply, as you are entering into a B2B contract by buying from the business site.

Now I'm confused. So which version is the above link? It says home at the top of OP's link, but is it business? Dell rep says this means no returns other than the 1 year warranty.
#19
I see no problem with this! But yes. In general it looks perfect, anybody got any idea about the screen being bad?
#20
mmm can't seem to find the laptop when going through TCB or Quidco.... Looks like a good buy if your after a 17" laptop with a decent spec. A little bit more than I wanted to spend thus I would need to find a way of getting some money for an old 17" toshiba that is working but a bit battered !!
#21
search for N06S7509 on the dell website to get this fab deal with quidco too!
#22
£441.72 after quidco..mmmm tempting
#23
Thanks for the help foxyloxy now I am tempted.......
#24
yes, tempting indeed, just need pay-day :)
#25
Good deal but I would rather spend £350 extra to get a Macbook pro with the same configuration, to repay my debt of gratitude to Dark Lord Steve Jobs
#27

Yeah but its £900!
#28
thanks a lot for the info
#29

not if you want a 17inch laptop it isn't. This deal is for a 17 so would need to compare to a xps17.

I have the xps15 with the hd screen and its amazing, especially when I only paid £500 for it ;)
#30
Gone up to £670.80 now.
#31
hmm, this is showing me £670.80 via the link above?
#32

I bought this last week for around £580 which I considered a very good price. I'm amazed this deal wasn't hotter when it was available as I can find nothing even near comparable. The £490 price must have been a glitch. Good luck to anyone who got one at this price if Dell honours it.

Arrgh I saw this deal last night thought I'd order before breakfast but expired! Grrr
#35
got my confirmation email v happy
#36
Happy days. Confirmed and on it's way! :)
#37
Happy Days also .. acknowledged & confirmed emails received -- didn't even need to order the warranty (as those on 3550 thread). I did get a call though from a Dell rep this morning to "check" on the order details. I wonder if they were "screening" -- but I obviously answered correctly.
#38
Mine arrived today, very happy with it for the cash! Great deal thanks :)
#39
I want another one! :(
