This is a cracking deal.

I picked one of these up in August from http://www.rdc.co.uk/shops/main.php?sh=4 for £777. New but only 28 days warranty. Great piece of kit, with loads of connectivity options.

Tip: it uses a Sharp GUI, so use a Sharp code to get your Sky remote control working.

Hope this helps.

I had a 26" version of the Dell tv and it had more inputs than you could wish for, a really snazzy remote that lit up blue and of course a very nice picture. Here's some more detail on this one.

I work it out to have a net cost of £817 after Quidco cashback at 5.5% this month.

Got the 32" myself. Before you decide have a browse through the Dell LCD TV forums. Happy with mine.

Contrast ratio is not very good @ 800/1

Contrast ratio is not very good @ 800/1

I'll confirm that the picture is excellent. Even without an HD broadcast.

just so everyone knows, this isn't "full" 1080 hd (the advert says "fully" hd ready)

I run a dell 19" ultra sharp tft with the same contrast ratio. What i am saying is there are better monitors out there at the same money.

40" TECO TL4081RT HDTV Ready Widescreen LCD TV 10ms 2yr Collect & Return Manufacturer's warranty £893.59 Inc VAT

This is £30 quid more has a bigger screen and comes with 2 years collect and return warranty where the dell has not.
