This deal on small business beats even the home site one with 5% discount code.
All the XPS 1330 deals on Small business are reduced in price but this is probably the best value for money.
The cheapest now is just £589 delivered.

Dont forget there is quidco to come off these prices too.

I consider these such good prices that I wouldnt want anyone to miss out on their choice of spec that I have listed all the other available ecodes below with links to the small business site and delivered prices, dont forget quidco for extra savings too.

The lowest ever pricing on XPS 1330 and it gets cold votes, I wish that the voters could bring themselves to say why?
For anyone looking to buy a 1330 these are bargains, if your not after a 1330 then why vote it cold.

Hi Mike, I'm still here and listening closely!

I actually don't think they have the technical expertise to allow them to constructively present a good case for rejecting the deal….either that or they’re just bored:giggle:

As always Mike you present the best Dell deals out there:thumbsup:

I have commented on that before, I feel it is bad etiqute (?) to vote without commenting, good or bad.
Voted hot, especially as Home Premium....still can't afford it myself though.

I think this laptop is worth the money, however I just wish it was within my budget !

Just a quick question for MikeT, Is there any sign of a decent spec dell laptop around the £350 - £400 mark ?

Cheers

Disregard all the cold votes, as they clearly don't know good enough to see that this is a great deal.

Have to say MikeT, appreciate all the Dell deals mate - great post and takes a bit of hard work to find. Much respect.

I havent voted but I am seriously considering buying a laptop although my knowlege is still on the learning curve I think looking at this deal
http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108546
This one falls short.
Now unless I am missing the point the Vostro 1700 has
Bigger and better screen resolution
Faster processor
Bigger hardrive
Better graphics card
Better Wireless card
Internal 56k modem

The only advantages I see in this deal is
If you want Vista® Home Premium
and a Biometric Fingerprint Reader which is an extra £35 +vat but remember its a lower spec for more money and you dont even get a modem

Thats as I see it and I stand corrected obviously because it will help me in my planned future purchase

Because it's an XPS .....whatever that is????
#14
these suitable for home use? not business? and gaming?
#15
I have been looking at a few of the XPS laptops for about a year now. These little beast are built for performance and usually a good match for their desktop counterparts. As to whether they are game worthy, well I dont play games but any card graphics card over 256mb should handle anything you throw at it. Once again I dont play games so this isnt exactly what I would be looking at.
This is all about personal preference. I vote this hot as it is the best price especially for the N1013305.
If you want to know why this range is good check out a few reviews and make your own opinion.

Peace Toothpick

People pay more for smaller laptops. Big ones are cheaper.

The 1330 specs are very high for its size.

You need to compare like with like.

Brought 3 of these last week - one for myself and for two collegues. One works flawlessy, one rocked - in a wonky-table sort of way, and the other had a dead screen.

Call of Duty 4 demo and Half Life 2 Episode 2 were both very playable on the 1330, though perhaps I was being too optimistic in thinking I would get more then 3fps with the Crysis demo!

That crysis demo is a killer for any but the top graphic solutions if you want more than the very basic eye candy. Even my desktop machine cant run it anywhere near full candy.
Lots of players will be forced into upgrades to see it in all its glory.

Thanks for that, and I really didnt know size mattered :giggle: but at the risk of not having what I needed I went for the Vostro 1700 http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1129566&postcount=55 which should see me through a few years hopefully so my searching and decision making has ended.

These deals have expired, any news ones available?

Spoke to a sales agent, i managed to get the XPS M1330 for £789 inc del and vat, that includes the T7250, 2gb ram, 160gb hard disk 5400RPM, Geforce 8400, LED display.

Online it would have cost £850, with quidco discount best price would have been ~£820.
#24
Which agent did you speak to?

I'd quite like the same, but with downgrading to the basic Windows edition, 120gb hard disk and adding the fingerprint reader and upping the CPU to a T7300 or T7500.

I'm getting stonewalled by an agent saying there are no discounts available. Oh well :(
#25
Actually, here's a potential excellent deal if there's a Dell agent willing to do it.

Based on Gobby88's spec:

XPS M1330 (£789)
T7500 (+£70 on standard T7250)
2GB RAM
120GB 5400RPM HDD (-£60 on upgraded 160GB)
LED Display
Geforce 8400
£789.00 inc vat and del

I wonder if I can get the above (forget the fingerprint reader), with T7500 (+£70) and smaller HDD (-£60) for £799 inc del and vat?

Anyone with a friendly Dell agent, can you PM me?
