Great deal.

Wow. This is the hottest deal I've seen for a laptop. Almost tempted to get it even though I have no need.
#4
Are the 720p screens good quality?

Not sure if the 1080p ones are going to have a bit too small text for my liking. Yeah i know you can zoom in but it's not the same
#5
Is this deal hot because they are just about to replace the model?

doesn't matter if they are about to replace the model, this spec is unbeatable at this price. I have the same laptop with the better screen and 1.6 i7 processor and it is quiet and fast - very fast! I might just get this as well.

Is anyone else confused? Seems like someone is confusing resolution with definition.

I think this is slow with so many people trying to buy it.
I've not got the cash at the minute, but this is a superb price.

I take it this would be worth the extra £100 over the PC World type machines for around £400?
#35

Well in terms of general consumer hardware (Monitors, Laptops, TV's etc.)

1280x720 = 720p / 1366x768 = 720p
1920x1080 = 1080p

His point stands. But I don't know if it's upgrading the screen res to 1920x1080 (1080p).

Mine has gone through and just confirmed with my credit card company that the payment has been approved their end, so all looks good unless Dell decide to do the dirty.

Total bargain and just what I needed as an upgrade on 2nd laptop. Expect to see a nice M1330 in warranty on the FS threads soon. :)
