Santa uses Maestro !!

Not in Romsey she doesn't.....:p
£2k and you don't even get i7? Cold.
£2k for 2GB of ram? Not for me....
The processor on this one is £750 alone is you buy from elsewhere but with exchange rates so volatile it probably would have cost around £550 around July. Most games haven't even been optimized for dual core let alone quad.

As for price vs performance the current ATI/AMD cards are trouncing Nvidia at the moment.

It is laughable with such a high spec machine Dell seem to think 2x320gb sata2 drives in raid 0 will suffice.

To be brutally honest you could probably build a decent gaming rig with a monitor for £500-£750 less that this.
The CPU may cost £750, but Extreme Edition CPU's always stay at their launch price - the Dual-Core X6800 is STLL £500-odd, even though faster Intel CPU's are available for 20% of the cost...

£2k for no i7, 2GB of RAM and 640GB HDD is.... ****.
