Don't know why it is going hot without the link even working?

1366x768... what year is it, 1999?

I don't see the point of showing the total as £430 when it's £370 for the laptop from Dell and then £59.99 to buy ram from Crucial?

You might as well then deduct £25 for the possible sale of existing 3GB ram on Ebay!!

It would probably look like a better deal to just keep it simple as Dell supply it which looks like a reasonable deal.

+1. Most people won't even open the thread to read on. They will simply vote cold. I suggest you change the price tag to what Dell's selling it for. (and then add the memory bits in the desciption)

I would not recommend this model, it runs hot and the screen is poor sold mine on ebay to get shot of it.

whats the point in this-seriously? A one off laptop that will disaapear in someones basket and a suggestion that it is appropriate to upgrade the ram to 8gb??

I ordered this laptop a few weeks ago and really pleased with it. I also upgraded the ram to 8gb.

I thought it was a good price and it might help someone out, so I posted it on hotukdeals.

Problem?

my sony vaio has that resololution and its this years model, with i5 and its a joke. The screen quality is so badd, and the fact its glossy ruins it. Trust me, goods specs but the screen resolution kills it.

1366 x 768 is the normal resolution for budget/mid 15.6 laptops.
This seems a decent deal for an i3 with dedicated graphics card.

Don't buy it.

I don't disagree that it's a fair priced laptop but I can't see it being that helpful making up bundles from 2 suppliers. I see that you've now edited the deal to the laptop only price which makes much more sense. If people want to buy 8GB of ram that's fine but I think you cloudied the deal by showing a Dell laptop and Crucial memory all as one price.

I disagree with it being a decent deal due to the i3 processor and smallish hard drive, I bought a Dell 15R Alloy edition from Dell outlet 2 months ago with 8gb Ram, 750gb Hard drive, 1gb ATI, and a Core i7 processor for £430, the outlet prices are high at the moment, worth waiting for better deals IMHO

Looks like a good deal. Now, where did I put my time machine?

As of Today 18/06 there is an L502x for £430 with new Core i3, decent graphics, bigger HDD, 4GB of RAM. Might be worth considering as well.

Thanks for that Professor, but back to my original comment... is it 1999 with a resolution like that?

It's not a decent deal. It's incredibly average in every sense.
