Hi Mike, Hot spec for a good price. I wish they would spec these with faster hdds though. Which type of screen do you prefer, ccfl or tft? Never heard of ccfl before, they any good?

Wish I could say I have had either of the 1530 screens but my pocket money wont quite reach them so others with first hand experiance will have to answer that. The ccfl screen is slightly thinner and battery life is extended when equiped.

Good deal for a high-spec laptop, but why oh why do these companies not do better resolution screens as standard? I have a 1680x1050 as my home laptop and it looks infinitely better than my 1280x800 work machine.

Blu-ray playback would be pointless on such a resolution IMO.

You can spec it with the 1680x1050 for £941 delivered.
