Bought it for this money (or 64.99?) a year ago and have to say it is excellent, can cook loads of things on a turntable for even cooking without turning on main oven. Also 30l is larger than average microwave which is good as can fit lots in but worth thinking about if worktop space is limited.

I had one of these before,I found mine wasextremely hot on the exterior if it was accidentally touched, not sure whether it happens with all of them or if mine had a fault?

Cheap price though

think Im going to go for this...

Sorry bit ignorant about Microwaves, is this like a convential oven too?
#6
Now thats a bad ass microwave :)
#7
Is that spec correct?

Size (H)33.5, (W)52, (D)51cm.

51cm depth is HUGE, something closer to 40cm would be more normal.. 51cm would make it almost the same depth as the average worktop which doesn't sound right.

thanks just reserved one :)

I've got one of these, had it about a year, brilliant Microwave. I cook almost everything in it. Pizza's, micro meals, Pizza's, Micro Pizza's!

Mine runs warm at the back but not very hot.

It is huge.

After a short period of time the controls become mapped to muscle memory. I just bang on the thing a few times and its setup to oven cook a pizza. Nothing worse than a bad UI on an appliance.

I got it for £50 a year ago.

Deserves much heat.

I dont think mechanical items have muscle memory :whistling:

In my defense it was 1:30am and I was dreaming of Pizza. All sense of grammar went out the window too, but still, these cook a mean Goodfellas pepperoni. Surely that is all that needs to be said :p

Does anybody know if a surround(aka shroud) can be bought for this.To make it integrated into a standard kitchen oven housing ?

I'd also like to know this, wouldn't like to put something so big on my worktop. It's a steal at this price if you have enough room! heat +

Would very much doubt it - I have just bought a convection oven microwave and it specifically says there should be an open space of 30cm around the whole unit, so mounting it in a oven space isnt an option....well, not safely anyway

I think you mean 30mm .Putting this in a standard housing would still leave adequate ventilation as the shroud is merely a facia to fiil the gap between the edges of the housing and the FRONT edges of the microwave leaving a gap all around the unit BEHIND the facia.

NOPE...just checked the instructions..it says a gap of 30cm MUST be left ABOVE the unit.....it says only 10cm should be left either side and behind, but i can 100% categorically say that a 30cm space must be left above the unit.

My wife's cafe was burnt by arsonist just before christmas. She re-opens next weekend and we spent all day ordering new kit. Microwaves were on the list and we ordered 2 to be delivered next Tuesday. She needs something stainless steel, with a large capacity. These fit the bill exactly.

I just reserved 2 from my local store and will phone they guy we promised £190 to, for his 2 inferior microwaves and cancel his order.

Timing on this post was perfect, as she is trying to get decent kit, but on a shoestring budget. Thanks!

Brilliant! Just at the right time, our microwave turntable stopped turning and today I could smell motor burning.. voted hot!
#23
Thanks great post. As above, our microwave stopped two days ago, Panasonic same features and lasted years.

Can anyone confirm the dimensions with an actual unit? 51cm is MASSIVE especially as it requires 30cm of clearance behind it!
#28
I'll measure it tonight.

We have it on the worktop under the unit above (say 5cm clearance above). Have had it with the back against the wall and currently have it in the corner so 2 back corners touch the wall and have had no problems.
