Big and cumbersome with the useless filter machine stick on the side though! :-(

Once you get practice with the espresso/cappuccino, and master it, you won't want filter coffee!

I got one of these a few months ago and it cost almost £100. The filter coffee is fantastic (although you must buy decent ground coffee). At this price it is a steal. On every website ive searched it is ~£80+ (without p & p). I would definitely recommend. Heat Added!!!!!!!!

Decent coffee is wasted in a filter - there is only one worse way of making coffee, and that's in one of those old fashioned percolator machines that over-heats it to death! :-(
Just stick the same coffee in a cafetiere, let it brew then press - and it will beat a filter every time!
It's very expensive as a filter machine too... they only cost buttons: from £7.79 in Argos!.

The whole point of the machine is the pumped espresso part- and while it is not a bad price for a DeLonghi espresso machine, it is unnecessarily LARGE for the basic one that it is!

I agree your type of machine is smaller and cheaper, but it doesn't have the options when you have visiters. The Delonghi has all the options and is very cheap at Sainsburies.
