What was the misprice?

Very good price, our much cheaper model Delonghi gave good service before it gave up the ghost. Don't forget to factor in a decent grinder - this can have a bigger effect on your coffee than the brand of coffee maker. If it all looks to be getting too expensive check out the cost of a couple of cappuccinos on the high street to get things back into perspective.

i have one of these and talk about ball ache the cups need to be very small to go under the spouts and its a real game to find some proper cafeteria cups which fit, Its a shame really as after having to **** about setting it up a small cup of coffee is a bit bad

I've had about 5 different electric coffee makers in the last 10 years - the most recent one was a Gaggia classic which actually survived about 5 years.

When it broke I decided not to replace it because TBH only the Gaggia outperformed my stove top moka and that has lasted about 15 years!

I did have my eye on this one at £125 as a cheaper option and at £110 I'm even more tempted, but I just can't face throwing good money after bad because I feel these things aren't built to last.

Dead right there, but that's because you wouldn't find anyone daft enough to swap you one of these for a Tasssimo either!

I have one of these and it's lovely.

As for the comments about needing a small cup to fit under the spout, well yes, it's for espresso style cups. That being said, it doesn't take a genius to remove the metal grill to enable bigger cups to be used as I do.
