The EC330 is the one to go for......Best buy in Which.

Looks a good buy for the price and should be pretty foolproof. My first espresso machine was a Delonghi and it worked well. OK, it's not Gaggia or Rancilio, but neither is the price. Voted hot.

But that is the Delonghi EC330S. The one sold at House Fraser is a Delonghi EC330M. What is the difference?

What will the quality of the coffee be like? say out of 10 points?

Also how does this compare with the Nestle Gusto? I have a Gusto and hardly use it now and have to get the capsules which are not cheap. Actually prefer just espresso and considering this but would like advice. Thanks

House of fraser sell the EC330S for £119.99 This thread refers to EC300M - different machines. Sorry don't know much about coffee machines so can't tell you the difference.
this is the EC330S at HofF

I also had a Gusto but picked up a Delonghi EC710 a month or so back.
It's cheaper per cup
It works out about 5 to 7p a go (which is a guestimate based on a bag of coffee @ £3 a pop) compared to 20p a go for the Gusto (or 40p including the milk capsules).
It's nicer
I cannot tell much difference in the coffee itself, but you can buy lots of different varieties (the Gusto is quite limited). The cappuccino's are much better (10 out of 10!) as the Gusto milk capsules have a slightly artificial taste (still really nice, but this is better IMO). You basically steam cold milk to heat it and make it frothy, just like they do in coffee shops. We used filter coffee initially (as we only had that) but that didn't work too well. Now we have some espresso coffee its great! I really cannot tell the difference between this and a coffee shop coffee!!
But more messy...
Its quite a bit more work to make a cappuccino, and you need to clean it after each session. Its well worth the effort. I don't use the Gusto any more except for hot chocolate.

I hope this helps!

Im after a capachino maker, but dont want nothing which is too complicated. How quickly can you make a capachino with this one. The price looks good too.
