I bought this coffee machine from Currys and it makes fantastic coffee. The cheapest I could find it elsewhere is £79.95 on ebay. It is currently around £105 on amazon.

Gets very good reviews. Such as here:

Just noticed that the deal has already been posted. I should have searched more thoroughly.

Would appreciate if a mod could delete this.

Really good reviews for this on Amazon. Bought it for a Christmas present, thanks for the share! (sometimes it's worth repeating these deals!)

Being an espresso machine, does one have to boil a kettle to top it up to make a full mug of coffee? I used to have to do this with an old coffee machine I used to own.

That's how I use it for an americano which is usually lovely. Mines be on the go about three years and still works. You can froth the milk with the steam wand for lattes etc. It does work but don't expect to be doing latte art with the milk I think you'd need a more expensive one for that

Correctomondo! This one doesn't look to have a hot water function - Some people pop the coffee filter out and allow the water to run through the standard empty lever but it's best using water from a kettle in this instance

Great wee starter machine, I had one myself before I moved on to a Gaggia Classic.

yes it can do latte , steamed milk , it takes ground coffee, but it does not grin coffee ...good machine I have it for last two years .no problems at all.

Use ESE pods or ground coffee* for maximum grin ;-)
The steam wand is very effective on this - almost too frothy...
It is easy to make a cappuccino, but ideally you will need a small jug and milk thermometer for frothing.

I have had this machine a year now and you don't need to top up with a kettle for a full mug. I use the larger of the pods (double espresso) and just let the machine run until the cup is full and you end up with a nice crema. A standard mug won't fit under the machine, so invest in cappuccino mugs or a small jug and then transfer to the mug.

I find you need a coffee with a very fine ground in order to get the best coffee. Courser grounds just run through. I would recommend Lavazza Qualita Rossa (Red packet) or Costa FOR ESPRESSO (The for espresso is important as the standard one didn't cut it for me, far too weak a flavour). There may be other similar which are good, but those are ones I have tried. I have a packet of illy to try which i'm hoping will be good.

I don't use the milk frother too often as I don't like my coffee too milky, but when I have used it it has been great.

Wouldn't go back to any other type of coffee. Would love a bean to cup, but the cost has kept me away. And a good grinder costs more than this machine!

Hope that helps :)

I've got this machine and can confirm it does an amazing espresso, and if you add some hot water a great americano.
It doesnt do a latte or cappuccino, or maybe it's me.
