  Ive had the stainless one for over 6 months and the first one was leaking every where within the first day Amazon replaced it but what makes this machine rubbish it that unless you have dollhouse cups you have a serious issue as normal cups and mugs do not fit. When you do get the cups that fit the first few times you use it you will soon loose interest because by the time you've set it up for a drink and cleaned it all for a mouth full of coffee you really cant be bothered to use it because its a pain for what you get out of it.
  
  
  Aswell as that i paid way less than this from amazon so the price is not great either if you have just ordered it cancel it do your research and reading of reviews and go and look at others as the cup issue is bad and its a game to get the cups to fit and a nightmare to live with, the only plus is its a nice looking dust magnet.

  i really dont think you quite get the idea of what an espresso machine does and is used for !!!!
  
  for starters you cant get a mug to fit as its to make espresso not filter coffee. espresso is a 30ml single shot or 60ml double shot and as such you should use espresso cups to express the coffee into and not use a mug.
  
  if you think the coffee is too strong or not enough use the shot of espresso as the base to make a Cappuccino or if you like the espresso taste get an espresso shot measure glass (bodum) and make double measures. if that not to your taste add hot water to make a caffe Americano which tastes like good filter coffee.
  
  failing all the above get what you were probably expecting in the first place which is a FILTER COFFEE MAKER.

  Its a cappuccino machine so your talking daft and don't come telling me the ins and outs of coffee, I wasn't on about espresso either them small cups by the time the frothed milks on there's no room for coffee and if you would of googled it you would know the reasoning behind it as other people have said the same thing and i also have a filter coffee machine so do you think your the only person that drinks coffee in the UK and do you own this machine?

  you will find that its an espresso machine with an attachment to froth milk to make cappuccino !!!
  
  you need to buy the right cups which is a wide, shallow cups like this

  espresso is the basis of all coffee drinks and you have the correct machine but obviously dont have the right cups and know how to use it correctly.
  
  buy some proper cappuccino cups, a metal jug to froth milk in, an espresso shot bodum and take some time to learn how to use the machine properly.
  most of all forget about the mugs as espresso is a far cry for the instant mud you fill a mug with and it takes time and patience to learn how to make correctly.
