Originally released in Japan, then released by Atlus in the U.S. at the end of 2009, there aren't currently any plans for this to be released in Europe.
It received rave reviews although it is apparently an extremely tough RPG.

Aware that £40 isn't usually a bargain for a Console game, but good for RPG fans with a Grainger nearby - North of England and Scotland. http://www.graingergames.co.uk/default.asp?showpage=branches
(I e-mailed them to enquire why it's not available online, but had no reply).

Yep, it won Gamespot's overall Game of the Year which is some achievement when you see what it was up against; http://uk.gamespot.com/best-of/game-of-the-year/index.html?page=2

In fact, it has been confirmed that there has not yet been a license for a European release, so the chance that this game will be released in Europe is next to nothing.

Additionally, it's an Atlus game, they hardly ever drop in price (in fact, more often than not they just become extremely rare so you end up paying more than 40 quid) so you may want to get it while you still can

Also available at Renchi for a similar price...

(May have to worry about taxes though.)

The fact that it isn't released over here is the reason it isn't available online, i.e. to stop them from getting in trouble selling imports and avoiding stuff like taxes. If anyone buys it they'll probably see it appears on the receipt as something like 'Game Rental' or 'Misc Accessory'.

Must have missed this though

I would argue best game ever made....

However it is not for people who can not learn to adapt and respect the challenge...

I let my Newphew who is 13 play it last night, from the start, the first thing he did was duel wield and hack and slash, when I explained to him this is no normal game, he still persisted being all cocky, he played for about an hour then came and asked me to change games, as when he dies it sends him back to the beginning of the level....

If you see it on the shelves in the UK (as part of the second hand market) then grab it. I imported mine and I am absolutely addicted. It is such an amazing game.

Grainger is only in the north-east isnt it, places like Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle?
Reminds me a bit of Oblivion, looks pretty cool and is 9/10 on MC/GR so will be worth a look if it comes to the EU properly.

The furthest one South is in Hull, if that helps;

Just bought this today from Grainger Games. Haven't played it yet though. The sale was put through as a 'Staff Sale' instead of having the name of the game on the receipt, which explains how they are getting round selling it.

remembered to buy mine this week. Got it for £30 preowned but this was in like new condition.
Plus Grainger never sell sealed copies anyway so it was just like buying it new from them.

On my receipt it said "Birthday Surprise - (Pre-owned)"
