Oh and checked Tesco Direct - LOL!! Selling the very same set for £85 - How does that make sense?!?!

Been looking around for the past couple of months for a decent dinner set for everyday use - Got my Denby White for special occassions :OP So last night I was delighted to notice that Tesco had the DENBY Stonewear Everyday 12pc Box Set Cool Blue/Black Pepper less than 1/2 Price! I bought this set today via my online groceries order. I got the Black Pepper set but I see you can also get it in Cool Blue. I did a wee search through the obvious Amazon/Debenhams/Argos/Very and no-one came close to this price. You get 4 of each dinner plates, side plates and bowls. Great for 'everyday' :O)

I also searched on the Tesco direct site to see if it was the same but they are selling the sets at £42.50!! But I noticed they had the 'Blueberry' set for £34.25 ?!? Some seriously conflicting prices going on - Tesco Direct say RRP £85.00 but Tesco Groceries say £76.59 - Is there something I'm missing?

Anyway, it has great reviews and I think it is lovely! So lovely in fact that I think I might just go get another set! Oh and don't forget clubcard points!!

These were in Makro at the weekend for £19.99 + VAT

OK - But not everyone has a Makro membership or even a Makro nearby to justify the fuel etc ?!? I had my set delivered with my fortnights worth of groceries for £4. My nearest Makro (which I am not a member with) would cost me £10 return in fuel!

OK, but might be a deal for some other people if they've got a Makro a little closer.

Of course - I forgot about Quidco/Topcashback if purchasing through Tesco Direct!

and I was just saying about cashback to my fokes, who only just bought some reduced Denby other day. If only theylisten, they could have got me cashback. Dam them, lol!

is there a difference in the quality of denby coolblue and the other ranges of denby sold in other stores?? Tescos seem to be the only place selling this.
