This 12 piece dinner set from the Denby range features a blueberry design. Made from stoneware, this dinner set is suitable for everyday use as it is both dishwasher and microwave safe

Was in Tesco Handforth Dean today and these were displayed £68.50 down to near enough half price about £35. Took the plunge and they scanned at £17.12... bonus

Very nice too!

I have a great respect for Denby. We have the remnants of a Denby dinner service still in use after more then 40 years use. Our Asda service is looking tatty after three or four years use.

Scanned at £68.50 this morning for me. Maybe there are two barcodes/ older packaging?

It could be store specific; but to be fair to the OP, Handforth Dean Tesco is absolutely huge and serves a very large community, so hopefully someone will benefit. too.

Was it the blueberry? All other colours were £68.50 in Handforth

Yes, I only scanned the 'blueberry' colour.

Many thanks to the OP.

Managed to pick some up from the Bradford and Batley Stores. Had to dig around at the back of the shelves but when I finally found them they scanned through at £17.12.

Sorted out some of my Christmas presents :santa:

I checked the Brighouse and Huddersfield Stores and they do not have any in stock, so this may be limited to the bigger Extra Stores?

These aren't as good quality as the normal pricey denby stuff...I know because I'm sat next to someone who makes them.

Good price though nonetheless.

I think I got the last ones from Bradford. Had to do some digging around the top and bottom shelves and couldn't see any more im afraid. May be worth calling in and asking if they have some kicking around in the back?

I've had Imperial Blue Denby for 14 years and it still looks fab after being dishwashered on a daily basis!
I've been using the Everyday pasta bowls for the kids for a year or so and haven't noticed them being
inferior to the original ones in any way.
I'm very pleased with both types of Denby - it's worth every penny :)
