I was looking for a set of closed-back portable headphones and I tried the sennheiser px200s but found them woefully lacking in bass. I found these Denon phones after a long search and they are priced at £38.89 delivered which is easily the best price I could find.

Then I noticed a code on the comet website for 10% off accessories. Just go to comet accessories website and use the following code:

This takes the price down to an excellent £35 delivered! Lets hope they are better than the sennheisers...

Just noticed they also have a code here for 20% off first order. It is about a year old but worth a try too; WELCOMET08

ordered, nice one cheers.
Picked up my headphones yesterday. As far as the sound quality goes, they really are excellent. The bass is stronger than the px200s (thank goodness!) but still tight and punchy. The mids/highs are perhaps not quite as clear and well defined as the sennheisers, but for any music with bass involved, the denon's win hands down.
They are pretty bulky though so the sennheisers win on this count. But I just couldn't stand the bassless sound on the sennheisers so the Denon's win!
Very weird, I love my drum and bass and my PX200s deliver loads of bass. Looking at reviews I guess how your ear is shaped makes a big difference!

I might buy these to compare though as I need a pair for work
Darn my mis-shapen ears!

I looked at tons of reviews before I opted for the sennheisers, and people seem to be split right down the middle. It's a shame because I loved the look of the px200s but I couldn't get any bass at all without pressing them into my head. I was goiing to try the new sennheiser hd228 (£30.99 at Play at the moment) but can't find any reviews at all. If you don't mind your 'portable' headphones to be pretty bulky then I do recommend these denons...
