Quality DVD player. Upscaling to 1080i. Ordered mine today.
Model has been replaced by 1740 which probably accounts for bargain prices.
Highly regarded machine by specialist reviewers. I suspect very limited stock. silver only. P&P £10.00

Comes with a 2yr gtee

It's not the easiest site to navigate but a quick looks shows it is online too, plus P&P :) Well an less they are like some Sony centres, requiring you to visit the store to buy them .... :x

Very tempted to get one if I can get the money back for my Samsung HD870 which just lost it's optical SPDIF output  only 2/3 months old

emailed them yesterday, chap from the shop phoned 5 mins ago, told me that it was the LAST one in stock and was an Ex-Display model, I asked him to knock some money off it (due to the fact that it was ex-display) and he said that was the price and that it had'nt been used.

Told him to stick it - avoid at all costs

The bottom end denon products are just repackaged chinese cheapies anyway and aren't a patch on the higher end models for build quality and sound quality.

but not everybody watches DVD's 24-7, no point buying a £500 DVD player if you only watch the odd DVD or downloaded DivX movie.

At £80 your getting a great DVD & CD player for the money
