Just what I cam in to post :)

It's £3.06 or something similar in Boots, but useful if you're nowhere near a Sainsburys like me! I think there's a lot less of them up here in Scotland.

Nice!, shame about the cherry though.

I read something about this being a swizz - that actually, it does sod all in terms of clearing the detrious out of your mouth, and it's the toothpaste that it reacts to.
I'm sure one of the more random posters on here tested it out once by not brushing his teeth for 3 days, and it ran clear as water when he used it.

Anyway, still cheap...so erm....thumbs up emoticon thing...woo hoo.

And what happens if you use the mouthwash BEFORE toothpaste? I'm sure those responsible for it's creation wouldn't make such an outrageous claim if it was THAT easy to debunk.

Plus, mouthwash makes for an acceptable alternative to brushing, what would it react to in that case?

I tried a bottle once, and was a bit mystified to find that there was nothing visible in the sink when you spat it out.

Well i often notice quite a bit when i rinse out. You do need to give it quite a good swill about but it does do what it says on the tin! :-D

You're not supposed to drink it! :p

I use this stuff but I'm not convinced by the "results" you see in the sink - it just seems like saliva, mostly.

Still, I use it because Listerine burns my mouth off (effective by corrosion!) and the cheap supermarket branded stuff just foams up when you try to gargle it! How are you supposed to gargle that stuff for more than 3 seconds without it flowing out of your moth?! :?

i have used this mouthwash and found it totally pointless. I am sure its doing something but its not a patch on listerine or colgatte.

as for the "see the results in the sink" a chemical reaction occurs with the 2 layers that mix in your mouth and either toothpaste / saliva or something - but please plaque is not huge chunks like what you see in the sink after. and if you rinse for 2minutes its even more avoid it and use a proper mouthwash :)

The strong alcohol mouthwashes just strip away any benefits from the toothpaste that are left on your teeth.
Our dentist recommends this mouthwash for that reason.

Plus, if you've brushed your teeth properly, you shouldn't be seeing bits in the sink when using it.

I used this stuff for a while and seemed to do the job, it does however contain Triclosan and so I have stopped using it since and returned to the mouth burning experience that is Listerine :D

Whilst Triclosan has not been conclusively proven to present health risks when used in household products it has caused considerable attention, various studies exist with regards to the chemical and a general overview can be found here if you're interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triclosan
