Like the look of this!
Voted clean and hot

Don't agree with the product, they say it stops the spread of the bacteria on the pump of normal hand washes, but what do you do immediately after you press the pump on a normal hand wash?

But as it's half price it is a hot deal.

Not sure I can see the point in this. Once youve got the soap on your hands then you are going to wash thoroughly anyway so it dosent matter if you touch the top of a dispenser or not. Its a bit 'different' though!

Same here - yet another money making, scaremongering gimmick. What will they think of next.
Not voting either way as to me its £5 wasted.

Normally I would of said exactly the same thing, but theres something kinda hypnotic about this ,,, I want to wash me hands all the time ... lol

Not really sure I see the point either.

Plus 4 aa batteries, and the possible need to buy expensive refills if you can't mod the filler, all seem a bit over the top just to wash your hands.

Thanks :)

Saw the advert on the telly earlier.... Would not say it's hot though....

You press your plunger and wash your hands lol

Good marketing lol

It's not refillable with own liquid. The refills are expensive!

"Ensure the lens on the underside of the nozzle is free from soap build-up as this may unintentionally activate the sensor".

Nice - come home to a lake of gloop and have to buy an expensive refill.

Pump some soap and get ripped, not ripped off!

Good price. I picked up about eight bottles of Dettol grapefruit scented hand soap (designed for this machine) at Sainsburys at the weekend. They were about 65p reduced from nearly £3! Now just need to buy this and I am ready to go!

Exactly. :-D
Germs are everywhere. You probably turn the tap on with your dirty hands, wash your hands then touch that dirty tap, bam, germs. You probably touched the bathroom light switch with your dirty fingers, washed your hands, turn off the light; bam, more germs. Probably closed the bathroom door with your dirty hands, wash your hands then touched the handle, yep you guessed more germs.
#19
Ooooh this kills MRSA....

Wait so does household soap!

Oh and as for those banging on about touching a pump, doors etc you've just washed your hands with germ killing chemicals even after you rinse it's lingering around long enough to kill anything on dispensers etc

I think this is great.... with 2 kids at home who always make a mess with the liquid soap... I will buying a couple of these! Thanks!

Don't know about you but this is a bad idea for kids it's just one big magic gunge machine isn't it?
#22
Not voted as the price may be hot for the product but the product IMO is an absolute wate of money. As others have said its just scaremongering marketing

These will appear in pound shops shortly you watch

With this, it would be even worse if your kids already make a mess with those old fashioned 'manual' liquid dispensers.

With this they will just need to keep putting their hands next to the sensor and then empty all that expensive soap all over the place.

That will kill that nasty MRSA for sure. It will also probably kill your 4 AA batteries.

LOL .. its having that effect on me at the moment ... but my hands are clean .... :whistling:

Hot deal BUT.....

We've all servived this long, touching our soap pumps!!! lol

It'll be one of those things that people buy and then it'll end up in the cupboard because the refills will be pricey, you have to replace the batteries and it'll make a mess.

I use my arm to press my soap pump anyway, especially if i've been handling raw meat or something.

Good for people with OCD though :)

I think I might be turning into some sort of Geordie Howard Hughes .. except without the Birds, Money and the ability to fly aircraft ....

Pile of rubbish to be honest, won't be voting on this one.

My wife will consider this an essential. She's always wiping the kids hands. I don't see the need.

We're DOOMED, we're all gonna die. Get the women and children to safety. :w00t:

You have to use Dettol refills- batteries come with the system.
I'm organising the design of the packaging at the moment for overseas markets:-D
#32
I can't believe this is so hot, can you imagine it with kids really? Soap everywhere as soon as they realise they only have to "wave" and the "magic" box dispenses soap, I give all of you that have kids a week before it all runs out or you get sick of clearing it up.
#33
Waste of money....runs of mains too!!!!
#34
or you could buy a simple human sensor soap dispenser for £20 from Dunelm Mill and put your own soap in it :)
#35
You wash your hands with one of those things, then you sit down to HUKD to tell us about it and...

Waste of money - get you reeled in (just like the air fresheners) with the half price 'gadget' and charge you a fortune in future for refills.

Best thing to do is wash your hands once u enter your house front door. that way it keeps germs minimised.
#37
Its £6.66 in my local Tesco and scanned at that price as well !
#38
i'm sure the novelty wears off quickly
plus official refills won't be cheap
plus if the electronics is anything like the air fresheners that run off batteries, the circuit will waste batteries meaning you have to replace them more often than you should.

not voting either way.

This one from Deal Extreme is aprox. £8 and fillable with any liquid soap
