Its in my Top 10, but it is not now, nor will ever be the top slot.

Agree. Top slot goes to either Civ 2, SWOS or Fragile Allegiance depending on my mood. I'm old school ;) Best game I've played in last 10 years is probably Half life 2 or the Mass Effect series

I loved the original Civ and Civ 2. Never played Fragile Allegiance.
SWOS...what a game.

If you have no knowledge of the condition of the PC market, you are in no position to comment on it.
Regardless as to whether it is a port, this is an example to prove the theory that you can make money on PC games: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-20-alan-wake-pc-makes-money-back-in-48-hours
PC gaming will never die out fully.

I used to hate on PC gaming all the time and laugh muchly at my friend who made the ridiculous claim that playing FPS's with mice and keyboards was the best way to play them. Joke was on me. Went to PC gaming, never looked back. 10 times better than playing on a console, especially with brilliant mod communities for games like skyrim.
I think this is a placeholder instead of saying "out of stock". I've noticed Play does this for things that are long out sometimes and when you order it says "awaiting stock". I guess it just looks better when you have a specific date.
You replied before I finished the post! Thanks.
So are you saying that they will get stock on 2 March, which means waiting about 2 weeks for delivery?
This is a pre-order for the retail Mastertronic 'budget' version of the game, which comes out early March - the older full priced retail version is also still on Amazon too. I guess the only differences between the two would be the packaging.
Any ideas if there is a retail disc version with the DLC included? Is it the one badged as 'limited edition?'

I think that for only slightly more than the price of a console you can get a PC which runs games either at full resolution, better framerate, higher resolution textures, better anti-aliasing and/or more content than their console counterparts.
Also games are a lot cheaper on the PC so you'll earn back some money if you often buy multiplatform games, and you can save a -lot- of money if you pay for services such as Xbox Live or Playstation Plus.
And as far as "a lot of PC games are ****" goes, that is true for all platforms.
I'm not saying consoles are all bad, I have all consoles for the exclusive titles, but as far as multiplatform titles go the PC version is almost always the way to go.

was going to reply and show how stupid you are but simpler to quote and let you do the job yourself.
congrats - pretty comprehensive.
