Cdkeys was selling it for £20 last month

Omg what is with these prices for new releases 24 pounds is nothing for a triple A title. Does square not have any confidence in this game?

Unless you're new to PC gaming, £20 was always a good target price for new PC games.

has Denuvo, so you have to buy it :D

You try and tell that to Steam who try to charge more than console versions through their store.

To be fair, I don't think £20 was ever the RRP for AAA PC games. It was about £10-15 less than consoles or so. Also, inflation.

Is it a Steam key?

I don't think it's available outside Steam on PC, so it must be a Steam key.

I'm assuming it's a steam key?

I remember a few years ago preordering Bioshock Infinite for about £23, but it came with Bioshock 1+2 and Xcom: Enemy Unknown (The latter being worth £23 by itself).

This something might be up with this game :/ Even the ps4 preorder is about £34 places

The last Deus Ex went cheap as well and it was solid. I don't think you can judge a game based on the price of a preorder for it.

If you're unsure, don't preorder at all and wait for reviews.
#18
Deus Ex (1) was 29.99 on Steam itself at launch so cheaper elsewhere.
The price for this is to be expected and yes it will be a good game no doubts :)

You do know they change the security all the time, like the doom and jc3 patch from last week is now inoperative.

These days games are so cheap (after a few months) and plentiful that you need to really hate games to pirate them. In which case, why even play. I realize that some people don't have a lot of expendable income, but at least in London, a freaking burger at a pub has the same price as this. It's all excuses.

Just like those people get better and better at understanding how that security changes. It's a never ending race.

Can't get the £23.99 when I enter the code. It just says

Goodbye to vouchers and hello to the lowest prices when you sign in!

Price is £29.99

I'm signed in also £39.99 -25% = £29.99. So how do you get £23.99?

Also be careful of the initial hype for graphics

Display settings aren’t usually all that interesting but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has a number of key highlights. Firstly, we’ve got DirectX 12 support. Eidos Montreal has said this won’t actually be available on day one, coming via a patch in September. If you can toggle it on now, it’s likely to be very buggy.

I'd say that's less of a case this year than it has been in the past few. Games with Denuvo are holding their price and I personally don't feel like gambling £40 on for example Total War: Warhammer. I've also been interested in the new Hitman but if you buy it episodically then you don't get all the content so again, £40 gamble.

Piracy has always been a great way to demo games. Your argument only works with games that are under £7.

We also get notification here that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's 'High' preset is what the recommended system requirements is able to hit. That's a GTX 970 or Radeon RX 480, along with a fairly hefty CPU.
