I have 4 devices in the living room with are all attached to a ethernet switch, will the switch work with this plug?
If I wanted to add a third plug upstairs can i do do they only work in pairs?
Will they work in 4 way adapters?
Lastly will the speed be close enough to an ethernet cable?
Thanks I know I have asked a lot.

If I wanted to add a third plug upstairs can i do do they only work in pairs? YOU NEED/BEST TO BUY MATCHING PLUGS - SO 2 SETS OF THESE.
Will they work in 4 way adapters? YES - MAYBE AT REDUCED SPEED
Lastly will the speed be close enough to an ethernet cable? 85Mbps MAX SO NO. IN REALITY I'D SAY 50
Thanks I know I have asked a lot.

Yep. Just ordered and got same reply.
Hopefully we'll get them in the near future.
Good reviews and cheapest price I've ever seen for homeplugs.
Thanks for the heads-up OP. Heat Added.

Probably the limiting factor will be your broadband speed anyway, unless you transfer a lot of files from one computer to another on your own network or use local network media streaming. 50 or even 20 mbits will keep up with most people's broadband.
i have a wireless router in my basement and find it hard to catch signal in my attic if i buy this kit and plug one in the basement and one in the attic and use network cable will it work ?
thanks

This should work fine. As long as your electricity circuits are on the same ring main. I have one connected to the router in the living room then the other connected to another room with a 4 port switch feeding a tv, a sky box and a ps3 - works a treat. :D
Yes no problem.
