Looking around for a powerline kit and this was on the Currys website. Says that there is not many left on the site.

Looks like a good price for adapters with AC passthrough. Pity they don't tell you the model number.

Price is online only, instore is £24.99.

Free delivery or collect from store.

Excellent price for passthrough version and reviews look okay too.

Heat.

I used the Devolo passthrough powerline adapters before upgrading to 500Mbps adapters, they are a great bit of kit..
#3
Grrr just bought some TP link ones from Argos for 24.99, good find though, Devolo kit is good stuff.
The TP link ones I got work well with a Youviewbox in the bedroom. Presume these will do too.
#4
ordered thanks

I've had six of these Devolo plugs working in my house for 18months and theyve never missed a beat. On 24-7 and fast.
#6
Although 500mbps powerlines have hit this price, they didn't include passthrough.
Heat from me
#7
I'm using these a long side my solwise homeplugs....no issues plugged in and connected right away

hot!
#8

Ive got the 200av version wifi of these devolos are brilliant and very well made and very easy to install.
#10
I do prefer TP link (aesthetically).
I have both (not pass through)
Ordered and hot.
#11
I've had these (non pass through for >5 years) no issues used 24x7.
They have easy to use management software so you can upgrade firmware, reset passwords, check speeds using the software.
I got a firmware update recently this is 5 years after purchasing.
Other makes do not come close of the quality of components in the PSU. I have had other makes fail after 2 years.
They sell for more than this used on eBay as they have a good resale.
#12
Are these compatible with other brands? I have d-link power line adapters dhp302 200mbps.
#13
Ordered, thanks to the OP.

Heat added.

Great price.

COLD - Been this price from over 6 months. I bought 3 for this price 9 months ago.

Poor - some people have no clue as they are voting hot when its cold. perhaps posting yet another £79.00 nook deal would be brilliant ( yawn )

So they are COLD because you purchased the very same product at the same price?

Were they COLD when you bought yours?:(

Does anyone have an idea of what sort of size these would be? I'm interested to know that if i bought these and plugged one into a dual socket on the wall whether it would block the other socket up. If anyone has a passthrough powerline adapter (I'm sure they're not all that different in size) it would be good to hear your thoughts.

I'm between this and nano ones.

I have a set of comtrend ones that look buliker than this but no problem with covering the second socket in a dual wall one :)

does anyone have experience of using these through a extension lead?
#21
Heat from me - I'm using these and they're great! They were £50 when I got them last year and that was a really good price at the time. Soon after paid £40+ for a used pair off ebay. Not obsolete yet so a good deal.

I paid £80! That was around May.
I must have been desperate to have them that same day.

Great bit of kit though.

I think you will find these mount vertically they are thin enough so as not to block the second socket. However they are tall so you need clearance below.

Yes they will work fine. The software for the devlos only works with devolos though. Not a problem just thought I'd mension it.

They will work but you will get a slower speed. Its not recommend to use these adaptors on extensions they work by sending radio signal down the power circuits so the extension bars act as a ariel and loose signal hence the lower speed. It may also interfere with other equipment near by. As this is a pass through why not plug the extension into this and this to the wall?

Since these are pass through.....plug the extension lead into the home plug....problem solved!

sadly my wall socket is on one wall and my router and BT socket on another hence the extension so will stick to USB adapter, otherwise will need Ethernet extension,
Thanks for info though
banned#29
Use a long ethernet cable between the powerline and router. Then less wiring and way better performance than WiFi dongles.
#30
Thanks! Ordered. Been wanting some for a while.
#31
Great deal, bought :)
#32
Thank you. Just bought one kit + quidco 1.5% I think.

As 'eldevado' said a thin BT/ Ethernet cable is better than a long power extension across the room? Move the router to the plug??

Gone up to £24.99 now.
