They are about £88 at amazon and £105 at play (and out of stock).

The Devolo dLAN 200 AVeasy connects network-enabled devices such as PCs, modems, routers, game consoles and set-top boxes via your household power grid. It complies with the new HomePlug AV standard and supports data speeds of up to 200 Mbps. Its speed opens the door to bandwidth-intensive applications such as Internet television (IP-TV in HD quality), video-on-demand, VoIP telephony and fast Internet access with "Quality of Service" for smooth operation. It achieves a range of 200 meters within a single household grid, giving you the greatest possible flexibility to use your applications throughout the house.

Just plug the dLAN 200 AVeasy adapter into an electrical outlet to turn your power grid into a convenient data network. All you need is two adapters to take advantage of the full range of services. If ever you decide to use a room for a different purpose or rearrange your office no problem. Your network moves with you without the need for laying new cables. Just plug the adapters into different electrical outlets. That's it!

The special feature of the dLAN 200 AVeasy adapter: a touch of a button is all it takes to activate powerful 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption for maximum security. No additional software is required. Locking down your network couldn't be easier!
Highlights of the Devolo dLAN 200Mbps AV Starter Kit - HomePlug AV/ Powerline

* Simple plug-and-play networking of a range of devices via the household power grid
* Speeds of up to 200 Mbps, data encryption at the touch of a button
* "Quality of Service" for smooth operation of modern multimedia applications

Same price here - seems to be the exact same site though. Are BT and Dabs the same?

Don't understand why this has been voted cold, surely it's a good price for that particular product. If I'd wanted to start a thread listeing every other cheapo homeplug out there, then I would have, but, the post was specifically about the Devolo's

These are realy bad for radio hams ie they cause loads of interferance on short wave .As carrier is in on shortwave spectrum and data sent down unshielded mains cable a lot of people want these outlawed homeplug and bt home hubs are the same

Unfortunately that's not the way it works, with ANY item.
Comparisons will invariably be made.

Seems you have wasted your time.

A lot of people want cars banning from the roads, but I wouldn't put much into it, that's not going to happen either. Even if it did, for one thing, they are legal now, & multiple thousands are in use, and will be around for at least the next say 5 to even 10 years to come, unless something cheap and new comes along making them totally obsolete.

I would finds something to worry about that can be more easily changed, like MP's expenses. :whistling:

So it would be ok if i came and blocked your mobile phone internet tv radio and any other legit wireless comunication that you use ,Because this is what they do to radio hams on short wave i am not a radio ham but dont agree with some thing doing this as they could have been designed better instead they are a short wave transmitter using ring main as antena.PS most cars dont cause many problems on short wave ????? just thought id let you know
i just thought i would post this on here as it may make people think twice about using these as you may ruine some ones hobby if they live nearby i was thinking of using homeplugs and found this out while looking for cheap homeplugs do some research its quite a big issue

Homeplugs work, they get round lots of wifi problems, they are also legal to use.
