its still 24v and its still £19.99

yep, i get what you are saying, and im sure it will be fine for a bit of DIY.
But for somebody using it in their proffession, it is very unlikely to be as good or long lasting as a dewalt.

Here's and example http://www.toolshopdirect.co.uk/item.php/sn/6935FDWFE-2
£250 + posatge. I know i know, over £100 more expensive than the OP, but somebody might find it interesting. this particular model is 240 on screwfix alone.

The Dewalt looks like a good deal.

Can't go wrong with Dewalt tools. They are worth their money especially if you are in the building trade, defo one of the best makes you can get!

I can't belive you are comparing a dewalt to a woolworths £19.99 drill :?

I'm not sure if it's still available as I can't see it on their website but I bought a Dewalt SDS mains drill and it came with a similar drill just like this for free. The pair cost less than £90. That was a good deal!

You always get nobs going on about a £20 drill when people discuss premium work drills. There is a reason why dewalt's cost alot.

I think I seen this drill in B&Q for £160 and I think they take 15% off at the till.
Possibly getting it for £136? Now don't quote me on this!
