The Dewalt DC729 is a professional cordless drill driver with a powerful 18v motor for drilling and screwdriving applications and is compact and lightweight in design. It is fitted with a 17 position adjustable torque control for consistent screwdriving into a variety of materials. The two speed setting gives the drill the correct speed on materials so there is less strain on the gears and the drill itself. The DC729 is fitted with a ergonomically designed trigger and rubber grip for more comfort to the user and is fitted with a 10mm single sleeve keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock.

The DC729 is fitted with an electronic motor brake that is activated when the trigger is released, ideal for more control, and the high performance fan helps to cool the motor. The all-metal gearing fitted in the DC729 is of top quality for more efficient power.

The Dewalt DC410N that is included in the kit is a powerful 7,000 rpm angle grinder that provides high power for cutting and grinding applications. The keyless guard on this machine makes it very easy to angle when you need to change cutting or grinding directions.

Also on the DC410N is a soft touch trigger switch with lock-off button for easier gripping, and the 3 position side handle offers greater comfort and control even on difficult angles.

Also in the kit is a DC527N (bare unit) hand held torch that is compact and lightweight in design with impact resistant housing and a 3.5 hours continuous run. The DC527N has a rubber overmold head to protect the 4 pronged fluorescent tube, and also a 360 degree rotatable hook for hanging.

Finally the Dewalt heavy duty carry bag is made from the best materials available to Dewalt. This tool bag can handle even the toughest worksite conditions with its extra tough ballistic nylon. It is lightweight, moisture resistant and virtually rip-proof.

I don't think you are 'saving over £570' at all. I'd be impressed if you could find somewhere selling these for over £750.

Saving £20 over next best price more like.

have to agree with Searcher2, the drill with 2 batteries can be had for around £90, maybe less now
£180 is probably all it's worth with the 1.3Ah batteries

haven't voted

The RRPs on Amazon are a real joke, savings of £000's and xx% are completely fabricated in most cases.

Having said that, this seems a decent price for all the quality equipment you get. I've voted hot, but not because you 'save' £570

Just a note to anyone considering buying spend the extra cash and get the 36v DeWalt stuff with the Li-ion batteries the best power tool purchase I ever made

Agreed, save £570? What absolute rubbish. Warm deal at best.

I suspect that the deal is only this hot because of the 'save' £570 in the title.

Not sure about the 36v DeWalt stuff as I haven't looked at it. For 18v Li-on kit I'd go for the Makita Li-on range. 3.0Ah and fast charge.

For smaller stuff, Bosch (Professional) make a nice 10.8v 1.3Ah Li-on range.

far too over priced

what glistens is not always gold, if you check the batteries you will see that they are the old ni-cad type whereas all new battery power tools are all ni-mh which last longer and have a better performance,if you do light general DIY then this offer may appeal to you otherwise keep on walking :santa:

I in fact wrote a review of this pack on Amazon stating that the RRP was ridiculous and that the saving was only a fiver . They refused to publish as they say any price is not allowed in the review. This kind of defeats the integrity of the reviews to me . What it also means is that you cannot trust Amazon to give you the savings they are promising.
As a Tradesman who uses Dewalt all the time I know what the prices are and know when there is a deal.

At least you will find some 1 * reviews on Amazon. Try and find one at 7DayShop. I bet you can't. They really do vet the reviews making them virtually worthless.
