Black and decker have owned Dewalt for almost 50 years I very much doubt you remember Dewalt tools before they took them over.:whistling:

Black & Decker also own Elu and Electra Beckam to name two, they were all made in their Spennymoor factory.

There is nothing wrong with Dewalt tools, good quality tools for the money and also from a country that makes the best tools in the world the USA (Snap on, Ridgid to name but a few)
Take a look at Milwaukee power tools (and we all know how much they cost) owned by the same company that owns Ryobi, Hoover and Dirt Devil and its Chinese so don't judge a book by its cover.
