Can't find this radio any cheaper than £78 so this looks good, was looking at getting the DeWalt DC011 charger radio but that is about £100 and as I've got the charger already supplied with my tools this is a better deal to me.

Can be powered by mains supply or by DeWalt 7.2-18V Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries (not supplied).

It's only an AM/FM ..Manual Tuning Radio .......is it indestructible or summit or is it just the novelty of powering it by a Dewalt Battery ? :roll:

this is a cracking price , i work in a DeWalt main dealer tool shop and we cant buy them trade for this

Why the cold votes on this deal..... its a cracking deal and you will not find it cheaper anywhere..

these site radio's are great ! had one for 5 years with no probs my mate has it now as i have no dewalt tools anymore.i remember paying nearly £100 back then which when you consider the costs of batteries for any other it soon made sense.
it was kicked ,dropped,used as a saw bench,everything!
a newer version of this comes with an aux port for portable cd players etc.
i replaced it with the makita which at low level volume i.e-indoors sounds better than the dewalt but outside on site it cant touch the dewalt for volume also available in 110v so you can plug into your site transformer.
