I bought a similar Dewalt saw when I was renovating my house a few years ago and it was worth its weight in gold. Still going strong and as precise as day 1.
So I'd say it's a nice deal if you need to do a fair number of precision cuts - but it's probably OTT for just a few jobs around the house. Good price from what I can see - only beaten by around £10 if you are prepared to buy a "reworked/repaired" unit elsewhere. Most other hits show it around £300+.
