Jump to unread Post a CommentThe one we bought was so bad after 2 hours use it got demoted the the kids bedroom for them to play DVDs on... that was until after 30 days the screen went bang.. then the fun started.. we had to deal with ebuyer who quoted their 28 day return policy (Which i'm sure is breaking the sale of goods act).. they wanted to know nothing about the problem and all they would do was give us the manufactueres telephone number... we rang them but they were about as much use as a fart in a crowded lift (worse than ebuyer) 3 months down the line and we still are no where near getting it fixed... avoid...

Your contract was with ebuyer not the manufacturer and as such they are responsible for it's repair or replacement and the costs of collecting it from you and delivering back a replacement or repaired TV.
There are so many company's (especially on ebay) that do not know the law on retuning faulty items its untrue.
It sometimes is easier to go direct to the manufacturer but you most certainly don't have to, and in your case seems like a waste of time.
