Diablo 3 - PC Game Pre-Order @ Game Connection - £24.99

Confirmed Release Date: 15th May 2012

Diablo III is being developed as the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series. Players will create a hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian or witch doctor, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline and engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, they'll grow in experience and ability and acquire items of incredible power.

The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced Hell's armies -- and were fortunate enough to survive -- went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.

Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level.

Features:

Five powerful character classes to choose from, including the barbarian and witch doctor

Brand-new 3D graphics engine enhanced with spectacular visual effects and Havok physics

Numerous indoor and outdoor areas detailing new regions in the world of Sanctuary

Interactive environments with dangerous traps and obstacles, and destructible elements

Randomly generated worlds bolstered by scripted events for endless and dynamic gameplay

Vast assortment of fiendish monsters, with unique attack patterns and behaviors

New quest system and character-customization options for the ultimate action RPG experience

I'm not sure never used them would expect them to be ok since they're listed on dealspawn and they only seem to post deals from reputable sellers.

I want to know where you can pre order the collectors edition
#5
Definitely interested in the game because I loved Diablo 1 and 2. But not so sure about the site...

Aye used Game Connection in the past and never had issues with them (about 4 orders) so should be ok - if I didn't already have a Amazon pre-order from August 2010 when it was at £22.97 would be tempted :)

Is this for a digital download or do you actually get the game through the post?

I beat you tho GhengisBen, ordered from Tesco in 2010 for £19.10 ;)

OP how did you find that link?

Going to the site normally and using the search function doesn't bring up any results. This makes me a little dubious.

From Dealspawn, it was listed there, noticed it while browsing - a lot cheaper than the other prices. I wouldn't think that they would display the price if it couldn't be fulfilled, may be worth getting in touch with the retailer and enquiring.

cheers, ordered :)

sooo, is it downloadable or on cd???

I'm assuming it's a physical copy but I can't be totally sure and the description doesn't give any such detail. I would suggest contacting the retailer and finding out.

When you try to order it, add to basket, there are delivery options there so I'm sure it is a physical copy.

Good price, thanks op!

Never played the Diablo series, wasnt planning on buying 3 but this price has me tempted. Never heard of the website though.

A bit strange with their Twitter, the account name is ultra_gamer_uk and the website they link too is http://www.ultragamer.co.uk but leads to Game Connection.

But all of that isnt for just £23 though is it?
Its £107.88 (if you pay monthly) for the year which includes 12 months of WoW, Diablo 3, Beta access and a mount.
#28
Yes all of that is for £23
#29
I'm tempted to order this. I have it on pre-order with Game for £20 (pre-ordered around 3 years ago), but it's looking more and more likely like they will be going under before release ... bah!

Still have it pre-ordered @ Tesco from way-way back (August 2010!) for £19.52 (+quidco+clubcard points).

Fingers crossed it turns out good.

Still waiting, either your trolling or you didnt understand what the WoW annual pass is.

For commiting to a 1year subscription to WoW (even if you dont play it) you get Diablo 3 for free, Beta access to MoP and a mount. If you cancel in this first year Diablo 3 gets removed from your account. I see no where that says you get all of that for £23.

Shame I oredered my copy a few months back for a few quid extra. Does anyone know if this is a legit company?

Dang, seems these guys don't ship internationally?

I'm not sure if I should pre-order this game. They have removed the multiplayer element from the game and have announced that they will add it later as a patch (maybe as a paid DLC). So if this is just a single player campaign, maybe I can wait till the price drops under 20 quid couple of weeks after release.

Blizzard are the biggest con artists of the gaming industry.
I'm trying to start an uprising but people still worship them as gods.

Not one of their games is spectacular. If it wasn't for Warcraft they would be another dead developer.
Companies like The Bitmap Brothers released far superior games on a regular basis back in the day.

its just PvP they holding back on you can still co-op multiplay and there was only some passing comments in beta forums when they reported about the pvp saying it be a DLC and was players not bliz sayiing it

they need to have the PvP side in free/patched as its going to be only resone for ppl to use the auction house where they get a cut

Yes it is only PvP they are holding back, but that's what makes the game truly "multiplayer". It's more fun when you have human enemies and not NPCs.

Besides, the PvP in this game will just take place in the "arena" and not in an open world map. So another reason to wait for the price drop!

And yh, Blizzard didn't say anything about DLC but it is a possibility that they will make us pay for it like they always do! (just speculating)
