thats my sons xmas present sorted, thanks great find

The Glasgow Coatbridge store has all four sizes available for collection for £150. The Edinburgh store is £300. Pretty hot deal if you live near a store where it's £150!
#4
16" frame will do me just fine, cheers op
#5
wow! bargain! thats really good for the money, unless someone else can find better I reckon thats pretty darn hot
#6
I can't get into the stock finder bit haha
#7
brakes don't look hydro on the pic?
#8
how come some stores do it for £150 while other charge more as my local got it in stock but theyre wanting £300 for it
#9
None in Bristol
#10
Anyone else having a problem with the site?
#11
I think that this is a genuinely hot deal for a genuinely good bike. Not sure it's worth teh £449 'rrp' but with the RST fork, hydro discs and Alivio gears I think it's worth £300 minimum (as it's a diamondback, it would be a lot more for a top quality brand) so £150 is a fantastic buy. If only I not just bought a knock-around bike for work yesterday, this would have been much better for less money.....
#12
None in my size unfortunately.

I thought GOD (just realised their initials!) price matched anyone, who has it in stock? So just get them to price match themselves and get it for £135?
#14
Theres one in stock in Pudsey between Bradford and Leeds. Hot Deal.

no it doesn't if you select anyone of the frames other than 16" the price is £299 at the checkout
#16
And one East of Glasgow in Coatbridge!!

Just the 16" frame at the £149 price, all the other sizes shoot up to £299

Oooops, sorry. Missed the original quote about Coatbridge. Randomly putting in Postcodes of Grand Parents to see if any in stock!

You would want a 20" one which is now only available at Clydebank.

You really want to keep this for 9 months without riding it? Sounds like a waste.
#24
Would be perfect...if only I was shorted! Really want a bike as well and this seems like a good amount of bike for the money!

Anyone suggest anything similar...but that will fit me (5ft10/11ish)!

Anyone know what the leg measurements should be for the 20" frame version? Managed to reserve one at £149, but can't find any details on the manufacturers website for leg size.

Bloke in the local bike shop reckoned I needed a 20" frame (I'm 6" and a bit) when I was browsing there recently, but did say it varied from brand to brand, and he did say the saddle could make a difference (i.e. 18" frame with a particular type of springy saddle = 20" with a normal saddle).

This must means that the 22" will suit a 34" inside leg.

coming up 18" one left in coatbridge. does anybody know what size frame for a 6 foot adult? presumably this is far too small
#31
16" HD for 150 quid with no Freeview? Cold.

Just kidding. :) Hot.
#32
So are they 18" ones included , might head to bedford!
#33
reserved an 18" frame in bedford, ah well like argos really ey.
#34
So I ordered a 22" from Newcastle. Got confirmation and rang them about when it would be ready. Was told by some absolute @rse in the warehouse that there weren't any left.

Went back on the site and miraculously another 22" had appeared after going OOS when I originally ordered mine this morning.

So I have re-ordered, got another confirmation email. Awaiting another email now.

If this goes through I'll gladly chomp on a pompom.

Bit big isnt it? Youd be in danger of smashing your balls on the top tube every time you slip :)

Im 6'2" and get around more than happily on 19" Rockhopper.

Fair do's - I'm very new to this bike buying thing.....I'm getting one to get fit and save money on 7 mile trek to work.

I don't think they will honour my order anyway so still looking.

I just got my e-mail stating that it is sold out at Newcastle and they are going to contact me reference alternatives.

They don't need to bother.
#39
I'm approx 5'10 - would an 18" be ok?
Cheers

Got a call from the Wolverhampton branch to say there was a glitch in their inventory system and they don't have that bike available and the order will be cancelled. Worth a try.
