My gran needs one of these but it needs to be as simple as sky+, anyone got one of these?

With HD on freeview rather wait for one that records that and make do with my exasperating humax
#3
It's a TUTV box so it'll have their interface, quite simple.
#4
Read sellers negative feedback.

Regularelly freezes, very noisy hard drive runs even when on stand by, would not buy this product again.
+ Return-to-base warranty
= can be costly.

Great price for something voted 7.5 out of 10 on Reevoo at full RRP, looks a bit dated but you can't have everything!

Read those reviews - they're pretty poor in most cases.

I think my machine may be a rebranded version of this one: good when it works but regularly needs rebooting (slow process) and sometimes misses recordings.

These are poop.

If you are having probs with the Humax, a re scan always solves most my issues

Yeah?
I have a Humax PVR, bought for me as a gift, and it was recon, so not something I would have bought, as it has a few strange quirks; but to be honest that apart, they appear to be about as good as any brand of PVR (Topfields seem to have problems too, and far too expensive), and noise hasn't been one of the problems, and the fact it really does shut down when its on standby means it doesn't run the fan on mine! (but means it takes ages to get a new EPG when you do turn it on!)
