The Digihome 48" 48304 Ultra HD Smart is an acclaimed 4K Ultra HD TV, packed with amazing features! This 48inch 4K UHD TV is priced extremely competitively, far cheaper than what you'll find from any of the competition on the market with the same specification. When fed by a UHD source, this large flat-screen screen 4K UHD TV will display content in Ultra High Definition and amaze you with 4 times the picture quality of Full HD 1080p TVs.

The Smart functionality on this TV enables you to enjoy your favourite content from BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube, Facebook and many more! The 48304 also has a great web browser to surf the internet with and browse content from the comfort of your sofa. The TV is also capable of screen mirroring your mobile device and has a built in Freeview HD tuner showing all HD channels available on Freeview HD.

Thankfully this model is also 'A' rated for energy efficiency - handy for helping to keep your electricity bills down - impressive for such a large panel 4K UHD TV screen. You’ll also be pleased to hear that this 4K Ultra HD Smart TV has 4 HDMI 2.0 ports supporting HDCP 2.2 so you can connect all your devices that are able to produce UHD content. The TV also has a mini-scart port, 3 USB ports and a set of AV ports.

They've bridged the gap between suspense and cross over entertainment.

Pity the manaufacturer can't bridge the gap between Vestel and quality.
Arguably offers value though.

What do 1080p video games look like upscaled to 4k. I remember playing ps2 games on a HD TV and they didn't look great.

It's the one thing worrying me about 4k tvs at the moment.

I'm hoping we get to see more of the suspension bridge in the background. Its clearly the real star.

On a more serious point, I'd never heard of a "mini-SCART" before seeing it in the description.

Mini Scart is an adapter that converts the standard Scart into a very small connection (similar to an old style iphone charger)
#22
useless tv especially smart tv it's so slow

Yep. They've been using them in place of the full size version for a while now.

The TV should come with the adapter to connect a normal SCART to it. All mine have.

Bit bored of the "it's a vestrel" comments on these tv deals lately.. it is what it is! A 48" 4K TV for sub £300!
Can someone find a similar spec none vestrel tv and we'll compare prices.

What didn't you like about your Vestel set, if you don't mind me asking? Compared a Vestel JVC 50" to an LG and Samsung in Currys the other day and struggled to see a difference in image quality.

What non Vestel are you buying then? Let's compare. Popping up with "its a vestel" isn't very constructive is it? Just throwing this out there to anyone - What is the cheapest non vestel 48" 4K TV?

It seems to be a rebadged Hisense model, if appearance is anything to go by.

I have the 65 Digihome" from Tesco.....The 1st TV I received....great picture...especially in HD....ok sound.. ..for the money paid the screen formed a fault and tesco exchanged it for me.
The 2nd TV was different to the 1st one..... sounds is worse..... external dongle for internet ( for smart TV) won't connect to Internet. I tried to put a review on there Web site but they refused to post it.

I got a jvc which was a vestel. It was rubbish. So much issue with the smart software. Hardly use the tv now.

What was the issue? I've heard the apps are limited and can be slow, but equally that they've put out firmware updates to improve things. I've got a Samsung bluray player with smart features which is pretty naff too.

With the rise of tablets and devices like Chromecast, I wonder if the younger / technically proficient generations care too much about smart features, and whether suppliers will support them for long.
