Not a bad price but what's the point in having all those pixels but only 50hz motion rate??? Ok if you like a highly detailed blur I guess.

Does anyone have any experience of using a 4K TV with a PC for gaming? I don't mean ultra high end games at very high fps but something like Just Cause 2 at modest settings?

If this TV was £600 people would not touch it, rightly so because it is a poor quality 4K TV. At £329.99 if you were to purchase it you would still have a poor quality 4K TV it just cost you less.

I personally don't see why this is a good deal, no matter what price you pay, you're going to end up with a TV that is pretty poor.

Get what you pay for with TVs.

A bit smaller, a tad more expensive but with 1000hz (200hz real) motion rate and great blacks it blows this right out of the water.

I used to think the same thing too about unbranded TV's.

On a side note, I purchased a Digihome 65" a few months ago which I would have never otherwise previously considered, based on many good reviews I read on this site and 100's of tesco reviews etc. and the TV is absolutely fantastic.

If this TV's motion rate is only 50hz then chances are it won't have great input lag. The delay between your input and the action happening on the TV will be noticeable. I'd go for the slightly more expensive £399 LG tv posted in this thread. Much better quality.

Thanks very much for the advice, I think I'm going to have to get my credit card out!

Bearing in mind there are only about 3 or 4 companies that make the panels that go in these a well chosen lesser known brand can be very good. The Manta 3d tv on here about 3 or 4 years ago I bought had an lg panel in it and was excellent value for money. You just have to do your research first.

Have connected a ps3 to this and it comes up 60Hz no problems with picture quality at all, blue rays are fantastic.Did buy a sound bar as sound at first was poor until i turned off AVL (audio volume levelling) and the sounds really good from its own speakers, returned sound bar as not needed. Can't comment on its 4k as don't have any 4k source! very good value TV for the price

Tesco had this TV on for £280 so I bought one (not expecting it to be great) ..... don't know what all the negative comments are for its a cracking TV standard resolution channels are great, the HD freeview channels even better and Netflix 4k is fantastic. Yes it probably no where near as good as a top of the range 4K TV but I've not been disappointed and I've only paid £280!!!!
