I have two of these which I bought together from Amazon. They are not brilliant and have a tendancy to switch themselves off when they get warm.

I would go for something better.

as a country we need to stop buying rubbish makes - we're wasting resources what with cheap digiboxes and dvd players and stereos! Goodmans and Alba have a lot to answer for!

Bah Humbug - sorry! - just been subjected to a carbon footprint documentary!

I bought one of these. Didn't work. sent it back.

Does freeview work in your area?
#6
I ran one of these for a few months and had no problems, at this price its well worth it if you still have analogue tv.

Yeh, I've now got a different freeview box with every channel. Just that ****** one was faulty straight out of the box. One day it would pick up "x" amount of channels, the next day "y" amount.

Voted warm. Ok in second room. Audio glitches are main technical problem (brief audio cut-outs due to electrical interference are common)

Bought one from Argos last year. Kept locking up requiring it to be unplugged from the mains. Took it back for a refund. There are better around.

You can get a decent Freeview box (no faults after a couple of weeks) from Asda for less than £20. Never heard anyone say anything good about Digihome.

That is your aerial installation, not the receiver.;-)

I have one of these, it is fine.

I also have one of these. For the money, it is better than expected - voted hot.

Well i've had two of these and they are nothing short of superb. PQ is better that all of the freeview boxes i've tried and the killer plus point is the superb signal strenth. We are in a weak area and somehome this baby produces near 100% on all channels.

For this price it's a no brainer - Voted Red Hot Chilli Peppers

I've had one of these for nearly a year and it is OK (no more then that).

This is a very good price but you get what you pay for.

Ilepak - what does spending twice this price get you ?
#17
Well I am in a very borderline reception area and mine pulls in all channels, unlike the Samsung one that cost 3 times as much.
#18
Eactly inactive ! - put a panasonic badge on the front of this and everyone would be creaming themselves.

I remember the day I paid £90 for my digibox :( It was a family holiday at Butlins, who could blame me for paying that much?

As I said I found the the Digihome to be OK. Just good value for money.

My previous receiver (which would cost about £30-35 now) had a better picture and signal strength. It was also more convenient when looking to see what was on other channels and going to them.

I can only speak as someone who owns a DVB915 and (previously) a more expensive receiver.

If you are given one for free, pleasse refuse it.

It does, in most locations.

You just need the correct aerial, like you need the correct sat dish for Sky.
