I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this TV for £55 - today, in Morrisons.

AMAZON want £160!

The man on the Electrical counter said he had one boxed, brand new, in the stockroom and one which is the display TV ...... both at £55 each. The TV was hidden in a glass cabinet with other reduced items, could have missed it easily.

I wasn't sure if the picture was any good, but - at £55 - I was prepared to risk it. No such worries, the picture is great!

This TV is an Analogue TV as well as a Digital TV, it has a whole host of sockets and connections on it - including a HDMI Socket!

NICAM Stereo, GAME Mode and a mass of other Features, even TELETEXT!

Side connectors for Video Camera Input ... and, to round off a superb package, a Headphone Socket!

I am staggered, this must simply be the cheapest HD FREEVIEW LCD TV there has ever been? If I'm wrong I will eat my hat!

I think "HDTV with Freeview" gives it away (The Freeview bit means it is Freeview not FreviewHD) shouldnt be confusing at all.

It didn't say that when I posted my comment it said something along the lines of FREEVIEW HD DIGITAL LCD TV, ok? And as I already said I was joking, of course it wouldn't have Freeview HD for £55.

If you turn it face up on the floor you might be able to heat food to a lukewarm temperature on the rear of it...

These are just getting silly now, of course it has wheels and an engine, you just need to have an appropriate licence.

Awesome, it's smaller than I thought though...

What size is the Hard drive. 320Gb or 500Gb. And I presume it is a bluray player/recorder.

It's a 320GB, small I know but it's a Solid State Drive and don't be silly it's a blu-ray writer..

Ha Ha Ha - it's great here ...... it hasn't got any of the above engines, wheels, Hard Drives or Microwaves - but it does have something I have just noticed ... it makes a great mirror when turned off!!

The 3D comment reminds me of when driving home from watching Toy Story 3D ... I put the 3D glasses on and shouted to the wife, "WOW!!!! everything is in 3D!!!!!"

Being a woman she demanded that I gave here the glasses so she could 'experience' the 3D experience out of the windscreen!! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!! Only a woman!
#28
anyone actually bought this in their local store?
#29
Does it have free television x channel
#30
The till receipt says, 16" LCD TV ....... 55.00 ...... VAT is shown as £8.19

I cannot see a number other than till number .... there is definately one left on the shelf in Basingstoke 01256-333464 would confirm if it is still there.

Morrisons are clearing ALL electricals over the next month or 2 - they will no longer sell electricals thats why. Focusing on better pricing their food etc.
#32
This would be great in my kitchen for making jam, shame it's only 16" though as it'd only make a small jar at a time so not much use unless your one of them "little people".

Why post pointless unfunny posts
#34
16" is a bit small, wanted to be able to play PS3 on it but I doubt I'll be able to see anything of note on it.
#35
MrRee,

Is that you PS Lewis 8)
#36
The most important question is:

Does it make coffee?
#37
The great, one and only, PS Lewis? Do I look like a BBS Legend from where you are standing? ;-)

This is good, but incredibly small for a hdtv. Makes you wonder why they bothered.
