I have this monitor which I bought 2 yrs ago for just over £200. Bargain, although for me I wish I had bought a 20" screen as its just too big for me.
The picture quality is second to none.

Just bought the 23" for £114 and very impressed with the image and monitor. Always impressed with Digimate.

Can I ask why please? When compared to many others posted on here?

I'm looking for a new monitor but just cannot make my mind up with all the offers on HDUK!!!

Can this defintely be mounted? I'm looking at the back of it on the picture gallery and can't see any holes for mounting. Anyone know?

Cheers, A

Would this be able to be used as a TV?
suspended#7
@ sidmon no, it doesnt have a tv tuner built in. You could get a tv card for your pc though.

Is it possible to run 4:3 resolutions on a widescreen monitor. ie. will I get a letter box display or will it stretch the display?

Thannks,

Rob.

Provided you hook it to a PC with tv tuner or external box with HDMI out, like freeview or sky (via adapter)

Do you know the wattage rating of this when being used and on standby?

WIth the number of online streaming sites and services you could use this to get basically any TV programmes you wanted and as long as you are not watching something at the same time it is transmitted, then YOU DONT NEED TO PAY THE ANNUAL TV TAX (which effectively buys the monitor for you free, along with an external drive to store your programmes.

Using the BBC iplayer for non live transmissions requires no license.

Why pay a license to watch things at the times dictated to you - when you can watch them when you want and let your savings of not paying the TV tax buy the kit for you.

Why pay for Sky in a couple of rooms when you can set up a NAS and wifi in your house for the cost of the equipment rather than a monthly ongoing fee?

Do any Freeview recorders etc offer a terabyte plus of storage?

Hmm, looks like my monitor has gone so this might be good timing. Had my Samsung TFT for about 5-6 years - reasonable service I guess but not great.

I don't do any gaming, don't watch things via my PC - really only surf, download, etc. I've never heard of 'Digimate' but I guess I don't really need a top of the range monitor.

Would like to hear more on Digimate experiences before buying. It is very cheap for 22" but is it 'very cheap' in the other context?!

I've never heard any problems with them, even my Uni use them.

Does anyone know if there is a button to switch the input from VGA to DVI?? As I would like to run an xbox 360 through VGA and my PC through DVI.

Yes there is a mode button - I have two pc connected to mine and flick between them using this button.

Sorry I have no way of measuring the wattage.
