Haven't been able to find any reviews of this model, although other Digimates seem to review okay:

Very tempted...

Amazing price, will be tempted in taking a gamble if I don't get my Samsung 20" issue resolved.

Looks very cheap styling-wise in my opinion and doesn't look like it's be well-built either. If you're going for a budget screen like this I'd say don't take the gamble unless you can see the screen in action in person.

For £150 you could get guaranteed a top-drawer 19"/20" screen and I'd rather go that route.

Personally don't give a monkeys if the styling isn't up to much, more interested in the quality of the display itself. Rather unfortunate that it's a lesser known brand with no reviews seemingly available. Anyone out there got a Digimate monitor and care to vouch for its quality or otherwise?

The casing is strong, albeit not particularly beautiful. Image is bright and crisp. Pixel focus and picture alignment are very good with smooth colour gradient.

While the colour balance is OK, contrast is lacking in all areas, with darker tones being grey without enough detail and lighter shades looked too bright.

The monitor is good enough if this is all your budget will allow.

just for your info, I bought a digimate 19" tft just over a year ago from amazon, and think i paid about £170 for it (yikes!), but very disappointed with it. VERY washed out colours etc. wish i knew then what i know now about quality monitors as i would have returned it. i can post the model number when i get home late tonight if anyone needs to know. anyway, like Money Spinning, hope to have my 20" samsung sorted soon...

That looks like the one I bought (but need to check model at home), in which case I would concur with the couple of reviews in the link which say it is rubbish. It really has very poor quality vision. It was my first TFT after using CRTs (?) and I had nothing to compare it with. It was only after I started to use other TFTs at work that I realised how bad it actually was. Furthermore, the quality has deteriorated in the meantime. I should really try to do something about it, now that I think about it. The kids now use it, but not really fair to pass off the junk to them...

Think that's the last nail in the coffin of this one then. Thanks for sharing the info guys!

I purchsed a Digimate 17 inch from Aria , it failed after two years so after contacting Digimate they picked it up from my house and as they could not repair it send me a brand new 17 inch monitor so

Hmm voted hot then realised it is PC World Business - that makes it cold IMO - if it was from the main site, you have DSR to use to return it if you don't like it.
