This monitor is ok, use it for pc though as it is a 16x10 ratio so your 360 or ps3 will have oblong circles annoyed the he'll outa me, then when my one sprouted a dead pixel per day I sent it back on the 5th day and got a refund.

The dell full HD one posted a couple of days ago is a better option, has a hdmi port too and is 16x9 ratio so no oblong footballs or crosshairs. Allbeit an inferior TN pannel the dell is so much better and without someone telling you "oh it's got a TN" so don't touch it, you don't notice!

This is still a good deal but for the extra tenner the dell is a more appealing investement

I imagine most people buy a monitor to use with a PC not a games console in which case the aspect ratio of 16/10 is better.

Used a 17" and 19" digimate over the the past 5 years.
My first 17" was DOA from Aria, but digimate promptly picked up up next day and replaced within 24 hours!
The replacement worked for a good 2-3 years before I passed it on.
The 19" worked great for about 2 years before it sprouted a dead pixel, eventually passed that on too.
But all in all they were great monitors for the price.

I had the 22" briefly (was advertised as a VA panel but wasn't) and it was rubbish.

The new dashboard update for the Xbox 360 to be released in November will include two 16:10 resolutions via VGA cable, 1440x900 and 1680x1050

I bought the yuraku when that deal was first posted and the DGM then was the same monitor although you weren't guaranteed the better quality screen with the DGM.

Apparently though the yuraku now comes with an inferior panel too so probably neither is as good a deal as it used to be

I don't think games will support 16:10 though.

Is this a guaranteed PVA panel?
#12
the ebuyer one's are TN
#13
With a spec like that it's unlikely to be a PVA panel (6ms response time, low contrast ratio etc.)

The DGM is a far better screen than the dell, both are great screens (i own both, have the dgm at home and the dell at work). (If its a PVA like mine)

Dell looks a lot better though, the only benefit to the dell over the dgm would be if you did want your ps3 on it or you value asthetics over performance. Fall update will have 1920x1200 support for 360 consoles.

A lot of the digimate panels are PVA.

I have this one and it is a very good monitor. My only issue is with the size (its too big!)
I paid £225 for it at Xmas from overclockers.

I have one of these that I got from OcUK for about £215 about a year ago, they were guaranteed PVA panels but thats because they were checking them before they shipped them. It's a really nice display and looks good on a 360, it has both VGA and DVI-D inputs but does not support HDCP over DVI. I don't know how good Digimate support is, there have been mixed reports with some people waiting months for a replacement. I had a software fault with mine a few months ago, the firmware in it seemed to have corrupted and it would no longer run at native resolution (1920x1200) over DVI. Luckily OcUK replaced it within 5 days and I didn't have to deal with Digimate, I have a feeling it would have been a different story if Digimate were involved, from what I read on the OcUK Forums.

I have a video of the OSD for the display:

And also a Xbox 360 running on it:

Spend £10 quids more and get the Dell 24" Deal with FULL HD Support! :-D
#19
Bought a 19" digimate monitor a couple of years ago, it is ok but the power button was poorly made and broke easily. Digimate would not fix as stated this is customer damage, if normal operation results in a button breaking i think they should have fixed it. For this reason i would never buy digimate again and this offer is therefore cold.
