Neither.
None of them do much at all.

As I say in that thread, BORROW one, (eg via GP or Hospital physiotherapy dept.) if you still use it after a couple of weeks, buy one. Odds on 95% or more don't, I certainly wouldn't have, although I do admit it would make a good toy for the kids to torture each other during boring school holidays.

I disagree, mine is worth every penny I paid for it, when my pain is at its worse then this is the only thing what offers some sort of relief to the point where it lowers it enough for medication to take over, its a matter of finding the right setting which can take a while as mine offers around 30 programmes, its a catch 22 though as the time I benefit from it is when pain is at its worse yet because of pain I cant reach to stick the pads where they are needed:x so have to get my partner to do it for me:oops:
