I bought this machine 5 years ago as it had a rep of not being buggy like a lot of PVR's at the time......,Paid £200, still works fine, never fails to record or gone wrong in any way.

Does this act like a wireless aerial device? I just bought a new tv (thanks to here!) and don't have an aerial connection in my room, I'd like something like this so that I can use the tv for more than just mirroring my laptop screen!

Pretty much the same for me, but this has been my least used PVR because of the noisy fan.

Yes, I'd read quite a few comments on AV Forum about the noisy fan, but I never hear the fan on mine.
