I love one of the reviews from Argos - use these and they are likely to be stolen ;-)

"Liked the features of the recorder, but due to the quality of the camera I had to put the cameras away from the house to view the outside area round my car. This meant that the white cable and the power light were visible from people;e walking along lane opposite and as a result they were stolen within 2weeks.

Found the images, even in high definition and daylight, not clear enough for my liking, the 64mb SD card only stored about 2 daylight hours of images.

At night it was difficult to identify any images recorded even though I have an outside light."

Buying one of these systems tells me that you are not serious about protecting your home, you may as well not bother as intruders can tell what a quality system looks like and this is not. Mickey Mouse CCTV!

To be honest, these are okay if you want something VERY basic like to see who's at the door, etc.
I had one of these for a few months. You can only record video on camera channel at a time, but you can take photo snapshots on both cameras simultaneously.

As for it working at night? These cameras only have 3 infrared lights on them, so they're not the best for pitch black night time viewing.

The website's description is awesome!!

Don`t confuse our product with cheaper versions. Our Two Colour CCTV
Camera`s refer to the fact that there are TWO colour cameras, not that we are selling a camera that film in two colours. Those cameras sold by our rivals are usually Black & White!
Colour is important if you are going to observe intruders, you have to be able to recognise which colour hoops are on his jumper.
Red & White means he is a burglar, and it is illegal to shoot him. Green & White hoops suggest he is a stray Celtic fan, and you can use a wide variety of lethal `man traps` without breaking the law.
Like wise, if it`s your best mate standing at the door you want to know what colour your top they are wearing (in case you clash).
Think of the advantages come summer, you will be able to tell if the lawn needs watering without leaving the comfort of your arm chair
(brown patches are a dead give away).
Not that you have to do anything, but it`s nice to know if you have to re turf next year.
You can also observe your wife`s face as she lays a new patio. If it goes red you can take her a drink. If she lies on the ground twitching, and her face is purple it probably means she`s swallowed a wasp and with remote in one hand (to turn down the volume) and the telephone in the other, you can call an ambulance.
Now, do you understand the important part a Colour CCTV can play in your life…

amazing but not really for serious use as many cctv are not really any more than deterrant -- theydo not catch thieves unless you know different
