The HDX-1000 is a new network media streamer that supports the most demanding video codecs available today. It's powered by HDMI 1.3a that supports pass through of high definition digital audio, such as DTS HD-HR, DTS HD-MA, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby True HD.
With the HDX-1000 you'll be able to stream and display your HD and SD media through your home network as well as from NAS, USB HDD, memory stick, memory card and internal harddrive.
Itll even play ripped DVDs and Blu-rays, the latter at 1080p/24fps with HD audio intact. The only files it wont play are DRM-protected ones.
You can play files directly from a PC or NAS device on your network, or you can transfer them on to the 1TB hard disk (its also available in 500GB and diskless forms) using the Ethernet or USB connections.
