Don't wanna rain on your parade, but this offer is kinda ongoing when you book a table at 5pm.co.uk, except it's £13.50 each for two courses and a half bottle of wine per couple - no coffee however.

Have you a direct link to that as I can't find it?

This isnt quite as good as it seems. Thought it was a bargain at first but the sample and homegrown menu is 13.50 for 2 courses anyway. Therefore the offer is more like 2 free glasses of wine and a free coffee! :)

Malmaison is named after Josephine & Napolean's Passion-Pad!!
"Chateau de Malmaison was the surprise purchase she made for her all conquering lover to celebrate his campaign victory in Egypt. On return the diminutive despot was enraged to find she’d spent his recently acquired fortune on its spectacular makeover. Malmaison hotels, bars and brasseries carry on where Josephine left off. " (Quoted from Mal)

It's not French food if you look at the menu and Malmaison is the name of the hotel chain in which the brasseries are situated.

The link to 5pm's website is in my post.

All you do is search for meal deals for the day you want to dine. The offer at Malmaison is regularly in there and similar to the OP.

In Leeds perhaps. It's £14.50 in Oxford and £15.50 in London.

Had dinner there (London) using this offer. Atmosphere very nice, service quite good, staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant decor very nice. Food was very tasty and well presented. Only one gripe really, that no vegetables were included at all with a dish of shepher's pie, I would have expected a dish of vegetables automatically to accompany this. Prices for "extras" were a bit steep - over £3 for a bottle of sparkling water, for example, and we had a third course that was far from cheap either. However, on the whole it was a good value deal for a restaurant of this standard. and I would reccommend it to others.

We used this voucher last night in Edinburgh Malmaison. Simply stunning food and service. These guys really know what they are doing. We opted to have desserts as a third course and this was £5 extra per person. Well worth it believe me. I think this promo is running until the end of Jan. I will be booking again before then for sure!!! :)
