i think it would be worth paying the little extra (less that $1) to get the 3600mAh one

you people do realise that these are just aa batteries in a caseing
and that 3600mah aa dont exist at most they are like 3000 mah
but most prob 2100
#10
good deal, but its american.
#11
ive got one of these, really long battery life and i always forget to recharge it

hot hot hot

Yeah I have 2 of the 3600mah versions and they are well worth the wedge. Got mine off e-bay year n a half ago for about £6 each and they are still going strong. Identical packaging to the ones I bought.
Gotta be a hot deal.

Point to note, as already pointed out these are just batteries stuck in 360 contoller cases but do the job they seem to last for yonks in my opinion.
One of mine has a slightly dodgy charging connection so sometimes I have to stand it up to get the charging light to illuminate but other than that spot on.
Also if the charge does run out during gameplay you can simply leave it fitted to your controller and just reconnect the USB cable to ya 360 and charge it as you play. So in effect you end up with a "wired" controller and you don't have to wait for it to charge back up sat twiddling ya thumbs.
hot!

What do you mean 'but it's American'?

....

I got two of these at Christmas from DealExtreme. Both labelled 3600mAh (obviously might not be), but they last for absolutely ages and don't lose charge if you don't charge up (unlike my Wii Chargers).

They're great!
#14
Anyone used them with a PC?
#15
They may be just AA in casing and they may not be 3600mAh but its still a great price for 2 x rechargable batteries with charger.

To be honest I'm getting annoyed at how difficult it is to get larger capacity AA's out of the case to put them in my charger. But with kids toys everywhere I don't want to get into the habit of buying batterys that aren't universal so I'll stick with what I've got at the moment.

I reckon both deals are the same and the 3600mAh one is just someone double 1800mAh thinking there are two battery's so it must be twice the capacity. Just a guess though
#16
I got one of these for the Wii from DX but it's **** unfortunately, the battery never really lasts very long and the cable that came with it is short.
#17
Great find, I have mailed my friends about these.

Yeah, I charge mine on the PC all the time. Windows detects the controller as new hardware, but just cancel that and leave it charging.
#19
Very good, was looking for a cheap one of these for some time.

Thanks :)

Ordered, thanks! :)

I actually bought a very, very cheap 8 port powered USB hub. I plug that into the wall by all my gaming stuff and plug everything into there.

DS
PSP
4x Wii Chargers
2x 360 Chargers.

Other **** as well.:-D
#23
Where did you get the 8 port powered hub from?
Can't believe I'm asking the RS a question! lol

By the way, it seems that the Xbox 360 is very good on batteries regardless of the type, ie chargeable or Duracell. 6 Months after getting mine I'm still using the original Duracell M3 batteries I put in! The Wii on the other hand is eating batteries like there is no tomorrow.

I do like Deal Extreme so anything by them is a hot deal !
Voted hot by me

Be weary of leaking with cheap battery packs.
#25
Ordered two of these as it seems I'm constantly charging batteries for my controllers.
#26
Are normal rechargeable batteries ok in a 360 controller? I have some 2500mAh Energizers kicking around the house, wondering whether to use those or go buy a Battery Pack (such as the one in this thread)
#27
yeah there is no difference, the pack is just two batteries surrounded by plastic

well that's your choice, but DX aren't american anyway.

they're based in Hong Kong, iirc.

ordered as well as a back up to my recargables as theres nothing worse than being halfway through a game of cod4 online and the green lights start flashing with all hell breaking out around you lol
#31
Fair enough, I'm not sure why I was asking because I ended up buying the Crossfire thing so I can use Wireless 360 controllers with my PC. Was going to ask if these cables can eradicate the need for the Crossfire but who cares lol, I've got wireless gaming on my PC I should shut up!
